Camp Rise Up
Held on the lush 250-acre rural campus of Camp Ramapo in the Hudson Valley, Camp Rise Up is for young people ages 12-15 and available for free to families living in homeless shelters, domestic violence safe houses, and other temporary housing. During a fun, activity-packed week, campers stretch their minds and bodies. This project is just a kind addition to a program that has served underprivileged children for years. My goal with this patch is to capture the innocence of camp with the nostalgia of being young and adventuring in the woods. Taking on a sleepaway camp with your peers is a unique experience with a lifetime of memories to follow.
