Graphic Designer & Web Developer @ The Floating Hospital

As a full-time graphic designer for The Floating Hospital, I produced effective, on-brand, and on-strategy creative assets for the website, emails, social media, print, and promotional items. I developed and created visual design elements such as illustrations, icons, graphics, posters flyers, and banners.
Inside the Clinic
The Floating Hospital provides care regardless of insurance status, immigration status, or ability to pay. They strive to be inclusive at all costs. Designing a banner that reflects this message was an exciting challenge and a wonderful experience. The creative opportunities here are endless! This banner has been displayed pride in the lobby of the main clinic.

Review Cards
These simple yet impactful cards serve as a bridge between the patient and the healthcare providers. They enable patients to share their thoughts, concerns, and feedback openly, fostering a culture of transparency and trust. When we offer patients the opportunity to rate their experiences and provide comments, we gain valuable insight into their needs and expectations. In a patient-driven hospital, every voice matters. A patient can scan the QR code and leave feedback.
News and Events Webpage Illustrations
Every month The Floating Hospital's HealthEd team hosts events for patients. The Floating Hospital’s health-education program serves the entire family with a focus on developing youth and children. They serve as inspiration for their entire families and help lead them to better nutrition and self-care.
Each event comes with a promotional illustration that's featured on the website with a blurb about the program. These programs help young people navigate the complexities brought on by transitional living, the programming for youth provides hands-on workshops in leadership, job and social skills, self-care and reproductive health, and on topics ranging from financial literacy, bullying, and self-esteem to social-media practices to social justice.
These monthly illustration sets are a small part of my job, but one of my favorites!
