Summer of Love Benefit
After two years of quarantining and keeping our distance, this benefit is meant to show and celebrate the love and care The Floating Hospital brings to New York’s most vulnerable families. The event theme, "Summer of Love" was developed by the Vice President of Communications and Marketing. Under her colorful yet careful creative direction, the Summer of Love benefit blossomed. The Summer of Love benefit is an open-air party to raise both funds and awareness of the vital work this hospital does to keep New York families in good health.

For over 150 years, The Floating Hospital has shown love by caring for New York City’s poorest families regardless of their ability to pay. This slide deck full of print artifacts from The Floating Hospital showed just how long they've been doing that. This display at the gala gave donors a peek into the hospital's rich history, and devotion to the community starting in 1866. This shows how The Floating Hospital has been meeting the community's needs through health education programs, free transportation to clinics, and distributing necessities like diapers, formula, food, and clothes.
