Patient Driven Events
Patient-driven events are the heart and soul of a unique approach to healthcare. It's essential to recognize that the well-being of our patients extends beyond their medical needs. Our patients are at the center of everything we do. These gatherings celebrate our patient's resilience and the strength of our community.
Women's Wellness
The bi-annual Women's Wellness event at The Floating Hospital has been a focal point of the community for the past ten years. This event places a significant emphasis on the health and well-being of women who are experiencing homelessness, recognizing the multifaceted challenges they face in their lives. In addition to providing essential healthcare services, the event's organizers collaborate with partners to deliver relaxation and family-oriented entertainment. We also provide services like mammograms, cervical cancer screenings and consultationsHPV vaccinations for 18 and under, screening for sexually transmitted infections (excludes HIV), food, refreshments, raffles, and giveaways!
Candy Cane Lane
Candy Cane Lane remains a lively and cheerful place, all thanks to the support of our community members, donors, volunteers, staff, and dear friends. While The Floating Hospital accepts donations of toys and clothing, the most invaluable gift provided to those families is the assurance that there are individuals who care deeply.

Project Sunshine Volunteer Day
Volunteers play an important role in The Floating Hospital’s history. One group that brings warmth to the clinic is Project Sunshine, a non-profit organization that brings play and activities directly to pediatric patients in hospitals!
Citi Volunteers Day
Global Community Day (GCD) is a tradition for Citi. It allows Citi colleagues to demonstrate our commitment to the communities where we have a presence, helping to make a positive impact in people’s lives by addressing local community needs. When Citi Volunteers climb aboard The Floating Hospital, the patients have nothing but wonderful things to say!
