The Floating Hospital is dedicated to providing exceptional and compassionate healthcare to families in need, irrespective of their insurance status, immigration situation, or ability to pay. This organization not only offers immediate care but also emphasizes education for long-term self-care.
When presented with the opportunity to serve as Design Lead and Web Developer, I was excited and honored. Throughout my tenure, I focused on developing a colorful, cohesive, and inclusive brand identity that was meticulously maintained.
I contributed to a range of deliverables including brand maintenance, web development, ensuring an active digital presence, crafting engaging social posts, media campaigns, and producing a variety of digital and physical assets. I believe my creative vision significantly contributed to the success of these initiatives, and it was an honor to do so.
Inside the Clinic
The Floating Hospital provides care regardless of insurance status, immigration status, or ability to pay. They strive to be inclusive at all costs. Designing a banner that reflects this message was an exciting challenge and a wonderful experience. The creative opportunities here are endless! This banner has been displayed pride in the lobby of the main clinic.

Social Media
In the event of, well, an event, the quickest way to reach patients is through our social media platforms! This is where patient-driven design, functionality, clear communication, and tone are most important.
Another great way to engage with our patients is through our digital newsletter! Another platform where patient-driven design, functionality, clear communication, and tone are crucial.
I served The Floating Hospital as a Jr Frontend Web Developer. Through this, I gained experience maintaining the organization’s digital presence through its WordPress website. I thrive on the challenge of delivering visuals that meet creative needs and day-to-day functionality. My approach involves combining creativity with functionality.
The resulting work supports the day-to-day operations of an amazing non-profit organization, community partners, personal, and interdisciplinary collaborative work.
Held on the lush 250-acre rural campus of Camp Ramapo in the Hudson Valley, Camp Rise Up is for young people, ages 12-15, and is free to families living in homeless shelters, domestic violence safe houses, and other temporary housing. During a fun, activity-packed week, campers stretch their minds and their bodies. This year’s camp curriculum includes workshops, outdoor games, and activities designed to foster personal strength, self-esteem and other essential life skills!
